Happy Friday Reader

This is hands-down my favorite day of the year. I love it more than Halloween, more than my birthday.

Someday, I’d love to spend the Solstice at Stonehenge, surrounded by all the hippy-hearted folks who gather to greet the sun on the longest day of the year. But for now, I’ll settle for getting up early and soaking in as much of this bright, beautiful daylight as I can.

I did write you a really long Weekly Brew this week—so long, in fact, that I realized:
This isn’t a Weekly Brew… it’s a blog post.

The gist of it? I’m still untangling all the lessons from my water fast, but here’s the heart of it:
Taking a full month off work to simply
not do taught me a lot about worth, trust, and surrendering to the unknown.

Honestly, I’m starting to believe this cancer is a miracle.
It’s asked me to pause in a way I never would have on my own.
It’s teaching me to deepen my trust in the universe.
And it’s inviting me to make big, beautiful, aligned changes in my life.

If you want to read the full post (the one that almost became this email), you can find it over on Substack right here.
This week’s journaling prompts are based on what came through in that reflection.

Together We Float,

  • What does it mean to you to validate your own self-worth?
What would it feel like to no longer wait for approval, permission, or recognition from others to feel worthy? Where have you outsourced your worth in the past—and how might you begin to reclaim it from within? What are the small, everyday ways you can affirm your value to yourself?
  • How does someone who already knows they are worthy show up in the world?
Think of a woman rooted in her worth. How does she move through her day? How does she say yes or no? How does she approach rest, creativity, relationships, work? What does she
not tolerate anymore? Let this prompt guide you to imagine and embody that energy.
  • How do you want to show up in the world as that woman?
This is your invitation to define it for yourself. What rhythms, boundaries, or practices would support the woman you are becoming? What would need to shift in your choices, your energy, or your mindset to fully inhabit your worth—not someday, but now?

In the blog post I wrote and shared above I shared that I've been thinking about starting my podcast back up. Would you be excited about that if I did?

1) This week I finished the book Lillian Boxfish Takes a Walk by Kathleen Rooney. It was based on the life of the first female marketing executive at Macy's. Super interesting. This year, I’m keeping a running list of every book I read and what I thought — You can access it here, there are already lots of goodies on it and all of the books I read while I was away are listed!

2) I'm hosting a FREE week of Journaling together July 7th-11th. Every day I'll send you a video with a reflection and a journaling prompt. It's in celebration of relaunching Re-Awakening Wisdom (RAW) in a 100 day program to reconnect us to ourselves. I hope you'll join us!
You can register here.

3) I had coffee with a friend yesterday and she had just listened to a podcast about fasting and it turns out my fasting Dr. was being interviewed by someone my friend listens to regularly. I had to give it a listen. You might like it too! It's called 7 days that will change your life forever.

4) While I'm back to work, I'm still very much on my healing project and I listened to this podcast episode of Heal with Kelly and then decided I need to try adding spirulina and Chlorella to my diet. So I got my bits from this company. They have neat packaging but I'll tell you it's a strong- not so good- flavor, IMO. I'll be taking them with water and not chewing them.

5) I've been working on a new collection and I'm loving what's coming out. You can take a peak at three of the first pieces from my Healing Collection that I've been working on.
Dancer of Healing is 20x4, Waves of Insight 24x36, and Profound Trust 30x40.
